Creating Connections: Team care in pediatric disabilities
Creating Connections: Team Care in Pediatric Disabilities is a one-day, in-person course co-hosted by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation (CPF).
Designed for local early intervention professionals, nurses, therapists and families, this event offers four parallel tracks focused on cerebral palsy assessment and early detection, management and decision-making, as well as movement and neuromotor disorders, and complex conditions across the lifespan. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based “pearls,” engage in interactive Q&A with regional, national and international experts, and leave with tools to strengthen coordinated, family-centered care for children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Who should attend:
Pediatric providers and families who want to improve outcomes for high risk infants through early diagnosis and intervention in a multidisciplinary setting including: Occupational, Physical, Speech and Recreation Therapists; Early Interventionists/ Developmental Specialists; Nurses and Nurse Practitioners; Physicians, Researchers and Students. Please note, physicians are welcome, however CME will not be offered.
